'Those Two' stainless steel salad servers

Those Two salad servers were first inspired by the way leaves are picked up by leaf scoops, and noticing the pleasure and playfulness in that action. They started off as shapes and then became faces, two friends, almost puppets. 

For the simple salad or the fancy

It took several iterations to reach the design that was satisfying in terms of the size of the faces and to make them the best salad servers. They are pieces that feel as good to hold as they look on the table.

Salads can be simple affairs of tomato and lettuce, or a complex mix of belgian endives, arugula and parmesan crisps. Either way, one rarely (or shouldn’t) eat a salad in a rush. Having some beautiful, unique salad servers to catch the light in the evening, and dress up your simplest salad making it a bit fancy, can transform a meal that was thrown together (no shame in that!) into something festive. Or a warm addition to carefully arranged table decor when expecting guests.

Stainless steel is more durable than wood or resin (plastic)

Other materials, like resin salad servers have been very popular for their colour and lightness but it’s not widely recognised that resin is actually a form of plastic. Aside from being as beautiful as silver, (and easier to care for) stainless steel salad servers are durable, both timeless and modern, and better for the environment. With their ring handles they are a pleasure to hold, and are dishwasher safe.

These decorative salad servers feature a curved rim for scooping, and a ring like handle which can be used to perch the salad servers on the edge of the salad bowl.

Those Two’s packaging has been carefully crafted and designed in our studio. They are ready to give as presents, whether as a unique wedding gift, housewarming gift or to someone who loves to entertain.

We love their friendly faces but if your preference is for something simpler or more classic, you may prefer our serving tongs which are also lovely for  serving salads- The Dome , the Circles, the Flowers or the Kaleidoscope tongs are all stainless steel, dishwasher safe and make great salad servers too.

Please note: When Those Two have finished serving they may have a little salad left on their face which can make them seem quite cheeky. But don’t worry, they are dishwasher safe.
