These bases are hand made by Moroccan artisans, using traditional techniques. They are imported by an Australian company, with strong ties to the artists.

Each piece has been formed, painted, cut and packed by hand. We have further adapted each piece in our studio to make them suitable for use at the table.

Each piece is completely unique because it is hand made. Please expect:

-Imperfections in the glaze

-Dips in the surface

-Uneven edging

-Variations in size and shades between pieces

These are all normal occurrences and we believe part of their beauty.

We love these bases so much and searched high and low for the perfect place to rest our serving tongs. The vibrance of the colours has to be seen to be believed.

Whilst we take pride in the quality and finish of all our stainless steel pieces, these bases are not "perfect". Each one is different and they all have beautiful imperfections.

We think they complement the deliberate and fine finish of the stainless steel serving tongs.
